What do we need from you?
(Please note, this list is not all-inclusive and other related duties may be assigned)
To provide our residents personal hygiene services to include bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, and assistance with showers
To provide activities for daily living such as assists with meals and feeds patients; ambulates, turns, and positions patients; provides fresh water and nourishment between meals
To administer elimination assistance including toileting, enema, catheter care, training programs, and cleansing.
To restrain residents in chair/bed as instructed by physician, and conduct prompt follow-up every 30 minutes
To provide for comfort of needs of residents
To be dependable, punctual and maintain a consistent attendance
To clean, disinfect and return all resident care equipment to storage after use
To help us identify potential problems and help us find the solution
To support and enforce infection-control policies and procedures.
To cooperate and maintain a good rapport with colleagues, medical staff, other departments, and visitors.
To accept assignments as needed to provide necessary care for residents.
What do you bring to the table?
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a nursing assistant course that is certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).
A clean IDPH background record.
Previous hospital or senior care experience
Excellent interpersonal relations and proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
Other federally regulated requirements:
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records.
Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine, and TB testing.
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis.
Must be willing to undergo biometric screening.
